Sustainability Initiatives
AVID Property Group takes a carefully planned approach to the delivery of sustainability initiatives for each community it creates. Brentwood Forest is definitely no exception.

Preserving The Natural Environment
  • Extensive areas of open space (34ha) with retained trees will be maintained throughout Brentwood Forest to preserve local flora and fauna and enhance the natural beauty of the area. These spaces will be supplemented by green links and revegetation areas, creating a connected green community for all residents to enjoy.

  • All additional planting and street trees will be completed with local native plants to provide additional food sources for the local fauna.

  • Stormwater is purified onsite by detaining flows in basins populated with vegetated sand filters that slowly release cleansed water into Woogaroo Creek. This ensures water quality is maintained as it leaves Brentwood Forest.

  • Significant rehabilitation of the existing eroded gullies and waterways is being undertaken, with a long term maintenance plan to remove weeds and re-establish the waterways to their natural state.

Creating Community

  • Local parks are an important part of the Brentwood Forest community plan, with current parks and plans for the future parks focused on delivering first class active and passive spaces that provide meeting places and deliver engaging play and learning spaces from toddlers to teenagers.

  • Construction materials are considered for their sustainability value, with long lasting materials utilised wherever possible.
